Return of Partial Ashes

This service works with a small, symbolic portion of cremated remains. Families keep the majority of the ashes close to them.

The portion returned to the soil of Africa represents connection, heritage, and remembrance. It does not replace existing memorials. It complements them..

This approach reflects how families already honor loved ones. One part stays. One part returns with meaning.

Premium options

Some families want to choose where the symbolic return takes place. The premium option allows for selection of a specific location type within southern Africa. This may include a coastal setting, inland landscape, or natural area,.

Families receive a certificate of return, confirming the location type and date of scattering. This provides a permanent record of the act, handled with clarity and respect.

About Us

This service was started out of a deep respect for Africa and an understanding of how strong the connection to the continent remains for many people, even across generations and distance.

Living in Africa means understanding both its landscapes and the practical realities of moving things properly across borders. Over time, it became clear that families wanted a simple, trustworthy way to do this without having to travel or manage complex logistics themselves.

The service exists to help. To make a difficult moment easier. To offer a clear, well-run way to return a portion of a loved one’s ashes to Africa, handled with care from start to finish.

Why choose to scatter ashes in Africa?

For many people, Africa represents ancestry, origin, or a long-standing personal connection.
Choosing to scatter a portion of ashes in Africa allows families to acknowledge that connection in a practical way, even if they live elsewhere.

This service is used by people who feel a link to the continent through heritage, history, or family identity, and who want part of that connection reflected in how a loved one is remembered.
